Dr. Natalie Strobach is Director of the McNair Scholars Program at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, a federal TRIO program under the Department of Education.
She is an avid researcher and expert in the field of graduate admissions, with relentless dedication to diversifying Higher Education and a remarkable record of Ph.D. placement. Natalie is also an expert in Undergraduate Research and has led dozens of seminars and workshops on undergraduate research and Research Skills Development.
As a classically trained comparatist and theorist from the University of California Davis, Natalie also publishes and works in 19th- and 20th-century French and German literature and theory. Her current project, "Time of Death: Writing in the Wake of the Moving Image" explores the relationship between fin-de-siècle photographic technology and its impact on temporality in 20th- and 21st-century narrative. This expresses her specialization in critical theory, deconstruction, psychoanalysis, posthumanism, and critical-creative writing.
